ABOUT HANAE

Hanae Bezad is an impact entrepreneur, international project manager, board advisor, curator, and the author of Being Other, a personal reflection on culture, gender, and identity. Her expertise spans government and international development institutions, civil society, and business. At the heart of her work lies a keen interest in the convergence of technology, sustainability, inclusion, entrepreneurship, and international development, and supporting the rise of a creative feminine leadership.

Hanae facilitates workshops and learning experiences, using coaching, action learning (certified by the Action Learning Centre, July 2022), collective intelligence and collaboration tools, with a creative and people-first approach.

Writing

Hanae Bezad is an acclaimed poet, novelist, and essayist, exploring themes of travel, diaspora, love, loss, motherhood, and femininity. Her collection of poetry, written in both English and Arabic, delves into these powerful human experiences. She is also the author of L’Abécédaire d’une vie Moderne and La Firme des Animaux 4.0, an illustrated short novel that humorously captures the struggles of a Parisian working woman as she navigates the corporate world and its dehumanizing culture. Hanae Bezad is a Nexus Ambassador for Morocco, a BMW Responsible Leaders Fellow, and an Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders Fellow. She is also a Harambeans Fellow and has been recognized in the Challenge Magazine list of 50 Women of Morocco (2022) and received the BFI Woman of Influence Award (2022). Additionally, she was featured in the book “Females Change the World” (2021) and honored with the TIZI Award in the category of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation”. Hanae serves as an advisor to WoMENAIT, is a Board Member of Fern Capital Group, and has previously been a Member of the MTL Connecte 2022 Programming Advisory Committee and the Board of Trustees of CIWEM. She is also a Task Force Member of i4policy and Led By HER.
