Hanae Bezad is a poet, novelist, and essayist exploring themes of displacement, cultural transformation, diaspora, love, loss, motherhood, and femininity. Writing in multiple languages—notably French and English, and at times Arabic and Spanish—her work reflects on identity in motion and the lived experience of navigating shifting cultural, social, and economic landscapes.
This exploration closely informs her professional work at the intersection of systems change, capital, and global ecosystems, where she engages with similar questions of transition, adaptation, and transformation across contexts.
She is the author of Being Other, a reflection on culture, identity, and belonging, as well as L’Abécédaire d’une vie Moderne and La Firme des Animaux 4.0, an illustrated short novel offering a sharp and humorous lens on corporate culture and its human impact.
She is also the creator of the Beezine, a bilingual literary and artistic publication weaving together poetry, essays, and visual storytelling to explore memory, movement, land, and the intimate textures of human experience across cultures.
Hanae Bezad is an Ambassador for Nexus – a global network founded to bridge communities of wealth and social entrepreneurship—and a fellow of the BMW Foundation Responsible Leaders Network and the Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders by the Policy Center for the New South leadership program convening rising leaders from the Atlantic Basin to shape global policy dialogue. She is also a member of Harambeans, a pan-African alliance of entrepreneurs building scalable ventures across the continent.
She has been recognized among the “50 Women of Morocco” by Challenge Magazine (2022), received the BFI Woman of Influence Award (2022), and was honored with the TIZI Award in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Her work was also featured in Females Change the World (2021), published in France.
Hanae is currently a Founding Partner of Thousand Faces, serves on the Advisory Council of Indigenomics Institute, and is a Board Member of Fern Capital Group.
She previously served on the Programming Advisory Committee of MTL Connecte 2022, the Board of Trustees of CIWEM, advised WomenAIT and was part of the steering committee of i4policy and Led By HER.
